Requirements for copyright notices and related complaints.

COPYRIGHT NOTICE INFRINGEMENT INFORMATION

SoxDomains.com accepts copyright reports for services within its technical or contractual control. This process does not represent that SoxDomains.com is the host, registry, sponsoring registrar, publisher, owner or operator of the reported content; does not designate SoxDomains.com as an agent of any third party; and does not claim statutory safe-harbor or registered DMCA-agent status. When another provider controls the service, SoxDomains.com may transmit the report or direct the reporter to that provider. Action depends on a complete report, the service involved, applicable law, contractual authority and any applicable counter-notice or dispute process.

  1. A signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the exclusive right that is allegedly infringed. Identification of the copyrighted work that is claimed is being infringed, or, in the case of claimed infringement of multiple copyrighted works, a representative list of such works.

  2. Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing or is the subject of infringing activity and that should be removed or access to which should be disabled, with information reasonably sufficient to permit us to locate the material.

  3. Information reasonably sufficient to permit us to contact the person giving the notification, such as an address and telephone, and, if available, an electronic mail address at which such person may be contacted.

  4. A statement that the person giving the notification has a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.

  5. A statement that the report is accurate and that the reporter is authorized to act for the rights holder. Send the report to [email protected] or use the public Report Abuse form. SoxDomains.com may request reasonably necessary information, preserve records, notify the affected customer where lawful, transmit the report to the controlling provider or authority, and take proportionate action within its control. A report is not an adjudication of ownership or infringement.
