Three checks that speed the case up

Use this for phishing, malware, spam, scams, and other harm tied to a domain. If SoxDomains does not manage the name, we can still tell you who does.

Confirm who operates the domain

Look up the registrar in WHOIS. If SoxDomains is listed, this is the right channel. If another registrar is listed, that operator should get the notice first. WHOIS privacy may hide the owner; that does not block a report.

The exact URL, the date, and a screenshot or email header let us verify what you saw. “The site looks suspicious” with no link slows the review. You can list up to 20 domains or URLs in the same case.

What we can do, and what we cannot

If SoxDomains is the registrar, we review the name. If we do not host the website, we cannot delete the content from the server. A report does not change DNS or close accounts by itself. Action depends on the evidence, registry policy, and the law.

If SoxDomains manages the domain or the service, the abuse team reviews the evidence. We may ask for more detail at the email you gave.

Outcome

The outcome may be to continue the case, ask the owner for details, or act on the name when that is warranted. Official orders from authorities should not be mixed with this public form.
